Council Tax frozen for 2 more years
Over these past three years we have been able to stop increases in the Council Tax, protecting family incomes at a time of rising prices, wage restraint and higher Westminster taxes like VAT.
We want to stop Council Tax increases over the next two years as well.
The Council tax freeze will save the average Scottish family over £300.
Inflation and VAT are going up. Salaries are being squeezed. This is no time to put more pressure on family budgets.
